WOYWW - Slow n steady wins the race

I'm conscious of how often I use the word bombsite but I really do have a talent for making a mess. Last month or so I've been furiously attempting to fill up my stocks in preparation for my first craft fair next month but I seem to have slowed down considerably in the last week! I also have mutiny on the craft robo front, he's chewing up almost everything at the mo, wasting card left, right n centre :( So after two hours in here last night I only produced one card but I'd better not show it to u cos it is still only September and some of you might get an attack of the vapours!

  1. Every time someone mentions the words Craft Robo I get a big attack of the guilt’s. I really never did get to grips with mine and it’s been banished to the cupboard for the last eighteen months or so. I know that I really see about getting the new software for it and persevering but I’m not technically minded and with no one here to help if I get stuck I lose my patience very, very quickly.

I’m assuming that the card you made is a Christmas card and I look forward to seeing. I started doing mine a few weeks ago.

    Happy Crafting!

  5. I've started the Christmas stuff, but it still gives me an attack of the vapours when other people mention it. Scrap Lady Ally told me she's already done her share of cards for the Christmas Marathon....vapours? Near death experience I can tell you! You were right about the calendar - am busy making it up for the 8th Oct...which as you know, is a week on Saturday. Argh. Robo trouble - do you need a new blade gal? When's the carft fair? Will you give us a preview? Please?

  7. I have started the cards for that event which is now galloping towards us faster and faster, but only because I got interested in one of the techniques that Barbara Gray was demonstrating (and have about 20 done). I have the Silhouette (which is really the same machine) but mine is the older version. I find it either works perfectly or just chews everything in sight. I have used it quite a bit lately as a drawing machine, using either the Silhouette special pens or the Sakura pens in the special holder.

  8. Lovely space you have! And I thank you for not mentioning out loud the type of card you made. I have a feeling I will be making those types of cards in a panic on Dec 23rd! (or maybe even 24th)

I am having a giveaway and invite you to come and enter!

  9. Apologies for being so late in visiting but I really wanted to pop in and see what you were up to last week. If I produced one card in two hours I'd be giving myself a pat on the back - I'm such a slow crafter. However, I can see how frustrating it must be when the machinery acts up - hope it has sorted itself out by now. Hopefully I will get around much quicker tomorrow. Elizabeth x #73
