Spooksville

Looking through my photos, there seems to be quite a few projects I never got around to blogging about. The following was inspired by a gingerbread house Betsy Veldman created – a quick search of the net yielded an easy house template which of course I translated into Robo Cop (might as well use him!) and Halloween-ified:

I put some sweets in and sold them at the Essington Fruit Farm Craft Fair in October – and as I haven’t blogged about that either, here are the pics of our stall, featuring the lovely Loraine :

We did pretty well but it was blumming freezing and the heavens opened about half way through the day! Didnt deter the crowds tho, good old hardy Midlanders!

Two Years

LilyOfValley
This is a “OMG, its such-and-such tomorrow” last minute card from earlier in the year that I don’t seem to have posted.

Its for a second wedding anniversary, for which a quick internet search told me ‘paper’ & ‘Lily Of The Valley’ was appropriate. I used a well worn sketch and added some lace and twine to try and appeal to both sexes… I also wrote a note on the inside to explain the image… :)

On A Roll

Back in August, I posted these cards which were both on the theme of stripes of faux washi tape and I promised to revisit the idea… and this is the result:

I actually made a set of four, the backgrounds were fairly similar but I changed the sentiments and the ‘topper’ element using a couple of SJ’s girls and Pollycraft images:

I made the stripes up in Photoshop utilising papers from my digi stash and printing four to one sheet of Neenah Solar White card before trimming it to fit an A6 card.
