WOYWW 105 - The Week After The, Um Week Before...

After telling a whole bunch of people on Saturday that I'd met Julia thru WOYWW - without admitting quite how long it had been since I'd joined in - it seemed only right and proper that I should join in this week.
But as I suspect the majority of you (UK dwellers neway) will probly be showing ur PIF gifts off, I thought I would also buck the trend and play Whats On My Wall Wednesday. You see I've had this rather large canvas tucked away for quite some time and having moved my room around found I had wall space on which to hang it... but now I don't know what to do with it! I have considered painting some kind of scene on it but then I have considered a lot of things including a mural of Graphics Fairy goodies so I'd like to pick your considerable collective brain WOYWW - can u inspire me?

  5. I love that you found a spot for your canvas before it even had anything on it! Looks like it needs a big Jackson Pollack-dose of paint spattering to me! Happy WOYWW!

  6. That's quite a huge canvas - scary! I wouldn't know what to do with it, it's a bit overwhelming. Sorry, can't help here...

  8. Ooh JodyJodpea, I do believe I recognise some of the cards on your desk! The canvas is fab...I would go with your Graphics Fairy idea - all on different papers and collaged with found stuff and notes and blah. OOh, I've almost inspired myself!

  9. A very tidy desk there in Willenhall ( I was born quite close), but I would be terrified at the size of that canvas. I struggle with big projects, although I have done some larger cards recently. I think I would like a mural with all the Flower Fairies on.

  10. Why not create a collage of art that you've received, be it ATCs, cards, mini canvases? The world is your canvas..... hehehe Now, I don't think that eye you saw on that template design was mine, but who knows? ROFL Thanks for stopping by hun!

  11. What a lovely window to gaze out when crafting! I myself go for fairies, but too large for me to deal with myself. Just let it sit and gel for awhile and you will suddenly be inspired. #100

  12. What a fab space to play with. I would spray it with some mists and masks and collage some music paper on and.. and.. you get the idea of how much fun I would have with that!

  14. Gosh, the 6"x6" canvases I did for PIF were a big enough challenge so I wouldn't know where to begin with that giant! Good luck with it :-)

Sorry I'm late popping over, but better late than never!

  15. The only thing that scares me more than a blank canvas is a large blank canvas lol. Looking forward to seeing what you make of it :D.

By the way, sea glass is glass that went to the sea somehow and then has been tumbled about and made smooth and usually frosted, and comes ashore waiting to be plucked up from the sand. I didn't know what it was till I started picking it up 2 years ago lol. #12

  16. I made a canvas like that once with pretty designer papers in B & W with some family B & W pics too. Added some pretty ribbons, vellum and die cut tree and it was one of my fave projects...and one I did not get a picture of before giving it away as a gift...sniff sniff
