Offensive Material?

Why is this clean and simple lark so difficult? You'd think it would equal quick n we'd all be rejoicing! I hope the clash of patterns doesn't offend anyone too much, the fairy needed some kind of... mount n I was gettin desperate, ok?!

I'd like to enter this for:
Less Is More - Sketch
Ribbon Girl - Green & Yellow
LOTV - Punch It (the fairy was punched out with my new MS punch!)
Get Funky - Zing Into Spring (utilising the beautiful freebie paper)

  1. What a cute little fairy...and the coloring matches the papers you chose!

  2. Its a popular misconception that clean & simple is easy! It can take longer if anything as correct placement is crucial
Cute card, patterns look ok. Its all about making sure the colours tone together really. If the colours are identical you get away with it easier than not. Say a Basic Grey pad, they will have a vast array of patterns, but, the colour tones are identical so they work together!
    Great to see you

  4. I agree that clean and simple often can take as long as a highly embellished card! I think your image is adorable and like your colour matching...x

  18. I must admit that I agree with you . .. .. the less is more look is much harder to execute than most people's usual style. I think it is a case of feel comfortable in seeing space that we would normally fill with anything and everything LOL!!

Having said that though you have done wonderfully here.

Great use of the freebie paper for this month!!

Thank you for sharing with Get Funky! this month.

    Love Jules xx
