In The Round

You may have noticed I'm a bit of a sucker for shaped cards and as I can't cut an actual circle to save my life, this design was a lil ambitious but I still love how it turned out! I saw this wonderful example (see right) after a convoluted blog hop that I think started out on somebodys WOYWW post and decided I wanted to make one!

With The Ribbon Girl challenge of pink & green in mind, I set out to emulate the brilliant clouds (did I read somewhere that this is a die?) with dry embossed vellum behind the apertures and a rub-on sentiment & image morphed it into a card for a colleague at work who's leaving.. providing the 'guys' at work don't think its too girly!

  3. This card is brill! Love the ribbon tabs, I never think of doing things like that.

I think Papertrey Ink do a cloud die, I vaguely remember seeing that on another blog.
