WOYWW 126

Morning WOYWWers, r we well?

Last time I joined your party, I was preparing for my first ever craft fair and I think… it… went… ok…! It wasn’t earth shattering but it wasn’t as boring as I thought it might be!

Since then, I’m afraid I’ve hardly done anything! As my desk is testament:

I’ve been a naughty jodpea, I’ve been buying this week – now I just need to actually use the stuff! And yes that is a pair of orange tights  - make your own jokes!

If you look back at my last few posts you can see a selection of the things I made for the fair - n there’s more to come! (Is that a threat or a promise?!)

  3. I'm not making any jokes after you so kindly came and back-surfed my blog! Yes, well spotted, both my desks are in the eaves of the buildings in question. At work, we have a kind of attic space that joins two buildings, which is huge - there's 10 of us in it and we all have desk space similar to mind if not bigger. My home space, well, all the bedrooms and the bathroom have slopey ceilings and that's just how I like them. Twee, some call it, but it's just a very old (16th Century) house with a lot of, well, eaves! I will add though that the full ceiling height in that particular bedroom is about 10ft!

Thanks for stopping by, and welcome back to WOYWW!

  4. I looked back at your craft fair samples, they are really lovely, loved the Christmas song cards. I won't ask about the orange tights! Panto perhaps?? And why not buy stuff? Might make you want to go back into the craft room again.

  6. Nice tights! My Halloween ones were orange and black stripey, but I cut them off and used them as sleeves in the end.

  7. I've found that you can never second guess how a craft fair is going to go! The places where you think you're going to make a killing are the sort where you end up taking everything home and vice versa! I quite like just chatting to everyone though and you can make some great contacts :)
How about purple tights next?? Lol,
    Hugs, LLJ xx

  9. Well done at your craft fair. It is a big commitment to take on, to sell at an event, so it is good to succeed in that way. Please tell us what the orange tights are for.

  12. Jodpea, What is it about paper that we love to play so much. I've got to get back to paper; lately, I've been on fabric. Thanks for the inspiration. Terri www.morningdewdrops.typepad.com
