Michael–mas

Apologies for the dirty word, but I have a Christmas card to share with you today. The Papermania Michael Powell collection have added Christmas designs to their range and they are just a little bit gorgeous:
My first thought when I saw it was of a stained glass window so I tried heat embossing it on to acetate and then coloured with promarkers. I then stamped it again onto a tri-fold card and cut the window out. The fairy lights have little blobs of glossy accents on them to make them look like bulbs and the effect is really good! Now I just need to decide whether it needs a sentiment or not…?
