The Size Of Whales

I have this cute top pinned to my Pinterest board:

It got me thinking about the watercolour craze that has hit card making and lead to this:

The whale and wave shape are from a X-Cut Pirate themed set – one of the first dies I bought – and I created paper masks from them. Then liberal application of distress inks and pearlised water – Simples!

Hopefully you can make out the shimmer the perfect pearls leaves behind.

As for the title… why is everything “an area the size of Wales?”

Raindrops

Just wanted to share a quick card with you made from the new Lawn Fawn Spring Showers dies.

Its my version of the card Kelly Marie makes in her intro video except when it came to adding colour, I suddenly decided to colour the die cuts with promarkers... Then to carry on the same colour scheme, I made a stripy background paper with the same markers.The sentiment is from an old Waltzingmouse set.

Im pretty chuffed!
